Did you seen Tiger Woods on television and thought about having a go? It's easier than you think!
Chris Potter Golf has for many years helped to bring golf to juniors in Norfolk. We have run our own "Glen Lodge Junior Academy" and have taught in many schools. We are proud to be able to say that many of the golfers at the highest levels in East Anglia were members of, or have been through, our facility.
The Golf Foundation is responsible for the development of junior golf in this country. We have been associated with their "TriGolf" programme and have recently instigated a Starter Centre Initiative and Merit Award Scheme when Juniors are coached together in weekly sessions by PGA Professionals in a structured manner and are rewarded by attaining "Levels". Chris Potter Golf is one of 327 centres in the UK and a registered Golf Leader Coach for the Golf Foundation.
Ryder Cup players Justin Rose and Ian Poulter have been to our range to promote junior golf.
We are currently working with the adjacent Easton College with groups of elite students working towards an advanced apprenticeship in golf.
Recently we have produced a "Golf In Schools" programme in conjunction with the Norfolk County Golf Union, which has taken golf tuition into schools of all age groups around Norfolk. Contact us for more details.
Every Saturday we run two hour long sessions of golf tuition one starting at 9am and the other at 2 pm. Price is £2.50 per hour.
No need to book just turn up!
A fun event played over selected courses usually over 9 or 18 holes using a modified stableford scoring format. Open to all children under 14 years in age the idea of the Tour is to introduce children to a golf course and to provide a start to competitive golf.
